Fellowship is a vital part of the Christian life. Because we are united to Christ by faith, we are also united to one
another as members of His body (1 Corinthians 12:12–27). In fellowship, we share life together—encouraging one another
in faith, bearing one another’s burdens, and stirring one another up to love and good works (Galatians 6:2; Hebrews
10:24–25). God uses fellowship in the local church as a means to strengthen His people and display the unity we have
in Christ. As we gather around the Word, prayer, and life together, we are helped to walk faithfully until the Lord
returns (Acts 2:42).
